About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct automated and manual Section 508 remediation on reports, studies and digital assets
- Fix and format PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and multimedia to WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A and AA
- Test user interfaces with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
- Develop templates and formats for company documents
- Adhere to tight deliverable timelines and coordinate workflows
Requirements
- Experience with Section 508 compliance and document remediation
- Advanced Microsoft Word and SharePoint skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage several projects under deadline pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in English, technical writing, journalism, communication or related field
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat Pro
