Access Control Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage daily access control desk operations, including credential issuance, encoding, and recordkeeping
• Verify identity and authorization levels before issuing or modifying access
• Administer user profiles and access levels within Genetec and approved security platforms
• Monitor door status, alarms, access events, and system alerts
• Review access logs and exception reports to support investigations and audits
• Coordinate with Security, IT, and Facilities to resolve access-related matters
• Support Security divisions during operational requirements, emergencies, and special events
• Provide guidance to users on access procedures and card usage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in security operations, access control administration, or facilities operations
• Strong working knowledge of access control operations, including cardholder profiles and access groups
• Working knowledge of Genetec, credential management, and alarm monitoring
• Knowledge of credential encoding processes and ANPR systems
• Ability to generate and review system reports for investigations and audits
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
