Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for clients
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
• Communicate directly with clients' vendors regarding billing and payroll matters
• Assist with special accounting projects and financial analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial statements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software and general ledger systems required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
