About the role
Responsibilities
- Own revenue retention for assigned accounts, including renewals, downsell prevention, and churn mitigation
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts using health signals and usage data
- Execute structured account planning to identify expansion opportunities in payments and messaging use cases
- Drive incremental ARR through payments adoption and lifecycle marketing expansion
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure product adoption and value realization
- Maintain accurate forecasting for renewals and expansion within a CRM
- Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in a SaaS software company
- 2-4 years of experience as an individual contributor in sales, account management, or customer success
- Experience managing 20-30+ accounts simultaneously
- Proven track record of meeting quotas or KPIs related to retention and expansion
- Ability to read and understand software contracts and pricing models
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Experience in texting, communications, or payments is strongly preferred
- Experience in customer finance, lending, ARM, or banking is preferred
