Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records
• Prepare reconciliations, reports, and supporting financial documentation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Support school fee-related accounting and reconciliation processes
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and month-end/year-end closing
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and UAE requirements
• Coordinate with school branches, departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Support the Finance team with other accounting and administrative duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous accounting experience, preferably within a school or education group
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Russian language is highly preferred
• Previous UAE experience is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-branch organization
