About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) entries, and perform monthly/annual closing activities
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations and ensure adherence to IFRS
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts while assisting with external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience (UAE market experience preferred)
- Indian or Pakistani national currently residing in Dubai, UAE
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo), advanced Excel, and a deep understanding of local tax laws
