About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivable and accounts payable data
- Verify invoices with LPO, work orders and site reports, and prepare and issue supplier payments
- Process accounts receivable and incoming payments
- Perform bank, vendor and customer account reconciliations regularly
- Review bank statements
- Review monthly payroll, prepare staff salary payments, and review end of service, leave salary and airline ticket calculations
- Manage petty cash through inspection and payment of bills, receipts and cash counts
- Prepare and review VAT input and output calculations
- Support monthly and yearly closing and internal and external audits
- Verify leasing contracts and work orders for accurate billing details
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; attestation required if issued outside the UAE
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in English and Arabic, verbal and written
- ERP Odoo experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, leasing or contracting sectors
