About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with recording and processing daily financial transactions
- Enter invoices, expenses, and payments into financial systems
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Support audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
- Basic understanding of financial transactions, invoices, and reconciliations
- Experience using spreadsheets and financial management systems
- Strong computer and digital skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup
- English proficiency for communication with clients and vendors
