About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections and aging reporting
- Monitor and optimize DSO, collection timelines and reimbursement trends
- Manage prefunded patient exam card operations, funding and reconciliation
- Own payroll administration, tax reconciliations and general ledger integrations
- Administer corporate card programs, expense policies and compliance
- Oversee the monthly close with the external accounting firm
- Develop financial policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures
- Manage accounts payable reporting, vendor onboarding and contract tracking
- Provide weekly visibility into cash balances and support cash forecasting
- Support audit preparation, tax compliance and financial diligence
Requirements
- 4-6+ years in accounting, finance operations or a related field
- Hands-on experience managing or owning the monthly close
- Strong accounts receivable, invoicing and cash reconciliation background
- Experience overseeing outsourced accounting firms or bookkeepers
- Experience administering payroll through Rippling, ADP or Gusto
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Ramp or similar platforms
- Experience developing accounting policies and internal controls
- Strong Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Healthcare, medical billing or payer reimbursement experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce and finance integrations
