About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational lead on accounting delivery, partnering with the Firm Principal/Franchise Owner
- Oversee accounting operations for multiple clients
- Direct and review the analyst team's work across A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation, delegation, and process improvement
- Prepare and review general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Perform, analyze, and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Research and resolve questions related to general ledger items
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting or full-cycle accounting experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of client relationship management experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
- Ability to communicate with clients and team members clearly and effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud accounting tools like Bill.com and Ramp
- Prior experience working with multiple clients
