About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closing processes
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for all tax-related matters, including VAT and Corporate Tax
- Oversee Intercompany (IC) reconciliations and manage SAP Fixed Assets ledger
- Supervise, mentor, and review the outputs of junior finance team members
- Lead external and internal audit processes across MEINA countries
- Partner with the Regional Head of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Accounting & Tax roles, preferably in Luxury/Retail or Big 4
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Knowledge of IFRS and Middle East tax regulations (UAE Corporate Tax and VAT)
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Stealth
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA
