Accounts Payable Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process and book supplier invoices related to transportation, ocean freight, and non-operational services
• Handle intercompany invoice processing and security invoice validation
• Prepare and submit payment requests and distribute proof of payment to suppliers
• Monitor and follow up on pending invoices and payment statuses
• Communicate with transporters, warehousing partners, and clearing agents to ensure timely receipt of invoices
• Resolve invoice disputes by coordinating with internal operations and suppliers
• Support the buying team with supplier follow-ups and documentation
• Work with internal operations teams to align on delivery schedules, rate disputes, and invoice clarifications
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal and external audits
• Ensure all AP activities adhere to internal financial controls and compliance standards

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
• Experience in logistics or supply chain industry preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using various accounting tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
