Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivable section
• Assist the General Accountant in efficient and timely collection of receivables
• Ensure cash receipts, claims, or unpaid invoices are accounted for properly
• Process third party claims and maintain guest accounts in accordance with credit policy
• Manage transactions including refunds, allowances, discounts, and write-offs
• Investigate special collection problems and advise on credit policy
• Prepare reports and analyses regarding progress and adverse trends
• Develop and recommend operating policies and procedures for the section

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
• 2-3 years of relevant accounts receivable experience in a 5-star hotel
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical abilities
• Experience with accounting software preferred
