About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform data processing, reconciliations, and analytics
- Handle actuarial pricing for the Middle East and Africa region, including experience studies and setting book rates
- Analyze medical cost drivers and trends to support business decisions
- Develop dashboards and reports to improve actuarial analysis speed and quality
- Develop, test, and maintain pricing and underwriting tools
- Support monthly financial close, reserving processes, and review of reserve assumptions
- Compile regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics, Underwriting, and Finance teams
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- Progress towards Associate credentials with IFoA or SOA
- Commitment to pursuing a Fellowship qualification
- At least two years of actuarial experience in the Middle East, preferably in health insurance
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools such as R, SQL, or Alteryx
- Excellent verbal and written English competence
