About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, labs and workshops in cybersecurity and computing units
- Set and mark examinations, assignments, projects and other assessments
- Provide timely feedback and academic guidance to students
- Coordinate internships, industry placements and employability initiatives
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years industry and/or teaching experience, primarily in cybersecurity
- Expertise in network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cloud security or SOC
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications
- Applied AI/Machine Learning knowledge
- Higher education teaching experience
- Familiarity with Blackboard, Canvas or Moodle
