About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, and OSGi services
- Build multi-site and multi-lingual publishing solutions using AEM WCM and DAM
- Guide migration efforts to AEM as a Cloud Service
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems like CRM and Adobe Analytics
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Optimize application performance and security compliance
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Requirements
- 5+ years of total software development experience
- 3+ to 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service)
- Deep understanding of Apache Sling, Apache Felix (OSGi), JCR, and CRX
- Proficiency in building Touch UI components using Granite UI and HTL
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java/J2EE and REST web services
- Solid front-end foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
- Experience with build automation tools like Maven, Webpack, and Git
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe-certified expert credentials
- Experience with headless content delivery (GraphQL)
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem tools
