Afrikaans Voice Acting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Record short lines and paragraphs in Afrikaans using various tones such as friendly, neutral, or authoritative
• Participate in paired or group script readings with other Afrikaans speakers
• Follow direction and perform retakes for timing, emphasis, and clarity
• Submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Afrikaans
• Proficiency in a second language (non-English preferred)
• Silent recording environment free of background noise, echo, or hum
• Ability to follow briefs and take notes on pronunciation or style
• Access to a stable computer, high-quality microphone, and stable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior voiceover, voice acting, or podcasting experience
• Basic audio hygiene skills such as maintaining steady levels and consistent mic distance
