Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end agents that autonomously perform key steps of the procurement workflow
• Build in human review checkpoints where autonomy carries too much risk
• Own the full lifecycle: design, build, deploy, monitor, and iterate
• Instrument agents for visibility through logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Work with commercial and operations teams to map real workflow steps into agent specs
• Make judgment calls on reliability, cost, and latency trade-offs for a live marketplace

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to build reliable systems
• Fluency with the modern agentic stack including LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, tool use, and function calling
• Proficiency in Python and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping AI agents into a live production environment
• Experience owning systems after launch, including monitoring and debugging failures
• Experience working in ambiguous environments with limited infrastructure
