About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic systems that automate multi-step financial workflows end to end
- Build evals and test suites that measure output quality and catch regressions before they reach production
- Set up monitoring and guardrails so we know when an agent is underperforming or acting outside its intended scope
- Define where an agent hands off to a human, and build the checkpoints, audit trail, and rollback that make that safe
- Work with LLM providers within strict data-handling requirements
- Build with model flexibility in mind
- Work across the stack as needed
Requirements
- Experience building and owning production systems end to end
- Hands-on experience shipping features that use LLMs or other models in a real product
- Strong engineering fundamentals
- Comfort working with ambiguous or unfinished requirements
- Ownership mentality
- Willingness to spend time with accounting and ops teams to understand the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go or TypeScript/Next.js
- Experience with financial or accounting systems
