AI Platform Engineer

About the Company

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search.

Responsibilities

• Ship the agent platform to production including event-triggered queues and model-agnostic runtimes
• Own the evaluation layer using golden suites and behavioral assertions to ensure agent reliability
• Build and register a portfolio of agents for reporting, triage, and question-answering
• Enforce governance in code through risk tiers, least-privilege credentials, and tool-permission gates
• Design human-centric contact systems and platform tooling
• Instrument the platform to compute and report its own operational value and maturity

Requirements

• Experience shipping production LLM agent systems with real operational history
• Expertise in designing automated evaluations, judge rubrics, and CI gates for AI
• Proficiency in Python, GCP, and infrastructure as code for end-to-end ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Public contributions to agent frameworks, MCP servers, or evaluation harnesses
• Experience with LLM observability and cost instrumentation
• Proven track record of building internal platforms that achieve voluntary adoption
