About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve production incidents and propose definitive solutions
- Execute corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance
- Develop improvements and new application functionalities
- Manage and monitor batch processes using Control-M
- Perform technical analysis of business requirements
- Participate in production deployments and post-implementation support
- Document technical solutions and operational procedures
- Coordinate activities with business, support, and operations areas
Requirements
- Proficiency in Cobol, Microfocus Cobol, JCL, CICS, and Control-M
- Advanced SQL, Oracle Exadata Database, and Stored Procedures
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Execution Engineering, Programmer Analyst, or related career
- At least 4 years of experience in software development for banking and financial services
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Payment, Transfer, and Collection systems
- Experience with Gravity/ESCWA
- Proficiency in Jira and ServiceNow
- Experience with application monitoring and observability
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
