About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, analytics-ready data models primarily in dbt
- Translate complex pharmacy benefits and healthcare navigation workflows into maintainable data models
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data products
- Implement automated data quality checks, testing frameworks, and reconciliation processes
- Establish documentation standards, lineage, and analytics engineering guardrails
- Contribute to engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and code reviews
- Build data foundations to enable future AI-assisted analytics and self-service capabilities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or data warehousing
- Strong experience with dbt (core or cloud)
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with Python
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and medallion architecture
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
- Experience orchestrating data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow or Dagster
- Familiarity with software engineering practices including Git and CI/CD
