Application Tester BS

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Provide clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence for reported issues
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after updates
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester
• Hands-on experience testing software applications
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps
• Experience performing functional and regression testing
• Understanding of software development and release processes
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
• English proficiency for working with English-speaking teams and documentation
