About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to map key workflows end to end and identify automation opportunities
- Design, build and deploy AI agents, APIs, services and workflows using Python, Kotlin or other team languages
- Build evaluations and backtesting to measure agent accuracy before launch and monitor production performance
- Define success metrics for each project, track results and iterate until business goals are met
- Write technical specs and present architectural approaches to internal peers for review
- Provide mentorship to engineers through code reviews and architecture reviews
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of overall software engineering experience
- Expert in one or more mainstream languages such as Python or Kotlin
- Experience building and deploying LLM-based applications or AI agents in production
- Experience designing evaluations and monitoring for AI systems
- Regular use of AI coding tools in development workflow
- Experience with full-stack applications, frontend and backend services
- Comfortable translating business stakeholder needs into technical solutions
- Part of a team that owned software components critical to business outcomes
