Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to translate opportunities into technical architectures and implementation plans
• Design, build, and deploy AI systems that solve complex customer problems
• Write hands-on code to build prototypes, evaluation harnesses, and production accelerators
• Make technical decisions regarding models, agents, retrieval, reliability, and security
• Diagnose complex implementation challenges and drive blockers toward resolution
• Create reusable architectures, tooling, and playbooks to accelerate future deployments

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record of delivering AI or machine-learning systems in enterprise environments
• Substantial personal contributions in code, architecture, or production engineering
• High proficiency in Python
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript is valuable
• Understanding of systematic AI evaluation using representative data and human judgment
• Experience navigating enterprise requirements like security, privacy, and data governance
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and executives
