About the role
Responsibilities
- Define reusable data products, semantic models, and architecture patterns
- Establish data contracts, schema standards, and integration patterns
- Lead metadata, lineage, catalog, and data observability strategy
- Define AI-ready data standards including quality, access controls and privacy
- Lead data modeling from requirements through implementation
- Optimize ELT/ETL data flows, transformation models and semantic layers
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies aligned with company standards
- Partner with engineering, analytics, product, security and governance teams
Requirements
- 10+ years across data architecture, data engineering or analytics engineering
- Expert-level Snowflake, including RLS, masking policies and performance tuning
- Extensive data architecture experience designing data frameworks
- Proficiency in data models and governance procedures
- Expert-level dbt experience
- Familiarity with Medallion and Lambda architecture patterns
- Experience with OLTP and dimensional modeling
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Sigma, Acceldata or Collibra
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience with CosmosDB or MongoDB
- Experience with Erwin, ER Studio or similar modeling tools
