About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office
- Perform financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, and cash control
- Ensure P&L accuracy and timely report delivery
- Monitor actual vs. projected sales and budgeted vs. actual wages
- Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
- Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports
- Develop and execute business plans to meet stakeholder needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related major with 5 years of experience (including 4 years on property)
- OR Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with no work experience required
- Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, P&L, and budgeting
- Proficiency in basic computer hardware and software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage financial resources and purchasing/materials management
