About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the commercial contracts function end-to-end
- Advise across all business verticals
- Build legal processes and playbooks to enable scaling
- Draft and negotiate complex enterprise SaaS and AI agreements
- Manage privacy compliance and data governance
- Serve as an embedded legal partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership
- Experience in Am Law 100 firm in transactional or commercial practice
- Pragmatic approach to risk and strong judgment
- Ability to communicate legal concepts in clear, approachable language
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth tech environments
- Experience with SaaS/AI business models
- Experience with data privacy frameworks
