Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct daily shifts in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Manage budgets, cost control, labor scheduling, inventory, and cash handling
• Develop and execute business strategies and promotional initiatives to maximize revenue
• Coordinate with culinary leadership regarding menu availability and dietary requirements
• Supervise reservations, waitlists, and floor plans to optimize guest flow
• Prepare and present daily operational reports to the General Manager
• Provide daily supervision, guidance, and coaching to supervisors and service staff
• Participate in recruitment, candidate screening, and onboarding processes

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury restaurant with P&L responsibility
• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management
• Experience within luxury 5-star hotels or restaurants
• Strong product knowledge of cuisine and wine (WSET 2 preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Office and POS software
• Ability to manage conflict and work under high-pressure situations
