About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing continuity and conformity of Shari'a rules and principles during internal Shari'a audits
- Support preliminary surveys of audited departments and units
- Assist reviewing policies, procedures and Shari'a audit programs
- Assist identifying and evaluating Shari'a non-compliance risks and controls
- Assist sampling, testing and documenting findings and exceptions
Requirements
- UAE nationality
- University degree in Islamic Shari'a or relevant specialization
- Arabic and English language
- IT skills
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years' experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certificate in Shari'a and Islamic banking audit (AAOIFI or CIBAFI)
- Professional auditing certification such as CIA level 1
