About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly consolidated group financial statements, including quarterly and annual financials, in accordance with IFRS
- Liaison with external auditors for Group Annual Reports and representation letters
- Manage the setup of new General Ledger accounts in Flexcube and Oracle across UAE and overseas branches
- Validate and upload financial adjustments using OFSA/HFM to finalize consolidated financials
- Maintain maintenance tables including GL mapping, branch codes, and cost centers
- Manage safe custody of property documents, share certificates, and subsidiary legal documents
- Support the reconciliation of financial and management reporting
- Assist in testing and implementing IFRS report changes to align with new disclosure requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounting and Management reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Word
- Knowledge of Core banking systems such as Flexcube and Oracle ERP
- Strong understanding of UAE Central Bank guidelines and IFRS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a UAE National
