Assistant Manager- Payments Regulatory Governance & SWIFT

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of strategic SWIFT and cross-border payment initiatives across the Emirates NBD Group
• Interpreting regulatory requirements and preparing business requirements
• Serving as a subject matter expert for SWIFT standards, applications, and Payment Hub functionalities
• Developing and socializing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
• Managing day-to-day operational support of the Payment Hub
• Coordinating with local and international stakeholders to standardize payment capabilities
• Supporting the governance of SWIFT-related services and commercial arrangements
• Contributing to regulatory compliance and operational excellence

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SWIFT standards, messaging formats, and applications
• Good understanding of cross-border payment infrastructures and market infrastructures
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 migration, payment processing workflows, and Payment Hub architecture
• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and perform impact assessments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• SWIFT ISO 20022 Expert certification from a recognized institution
• Experience in MIS Reporting, Regulatory Submission, Operational Risk, and Internal Controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
