Assistant Manager - Shared Services Center

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client escalations and support onboarding of new clients
• Coordinate the preparation and review of accounting reports, tax filings, and compliance documents
• Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to streamline processes
• Supervise juniors (Team Leaders, Accountants) and support staff, providing guidance and training
• Oversee invoicing cycles and track project budgets, internal costs, and revenue forecasts
• Ensure all accounting and tax work adheres to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
• Liaison for cross-departmental work within the wider organization

Requirements

• Qualified CA/ACCA professional with 7-8 years' accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years experience managing a team of 6+
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Highly competent in accounting fundamentals (IFRS knowledge)
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
• Proven project management skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Expertise in technical accounting
• Prior working knowledge in ERP systems
