Assistant Stewarding Manager

About the Company

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, offering 1,530 rooms, 22 restaurants, a theater, a beach club, and a five-star spa.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Stewarding Manager in planning and overseeing kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
• Schedule and conduct daily kitchen inspections for health and fire department compliance
• Supervise maintenance of banquet equipment and manage inventory control
• Handle administrative duties, staff scheduling, and roster alignment with business demands
• Provide leadership and direction to Stewards to achieve departmental goals
• Organize training sessions and refresher courses
• Monitor risk levels and ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist in controlling costs related to cleaning supplies, breakage, and silverware loss

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in 5-star hotels or integrated resorts
• At least 2 years of experience in stewarding operations
• Completion of secondary school (higher academic credentials are an asset)
• Minimum age of 21 years
• Knowledge of cleaning chemical handling and storage
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel operating systems
• Basic food safety knowledge is compulsory
• Fluency in English
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and cleaning high areas

Preferred Qualifications

• HACCP certification
• ServSafe certification
• Experience with payroll systems like Time Manager
• Proficiency in additional languages
