Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Execute a robust training program for new staff in a new office environment
• Work with Client Integration and operations teams to onboard large strategic clients
• Manage a team of fund accountants, providing ongoing training, coaching, and feedback
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and review financial statements and reconciliation packages
• Act as a liaison with clients regarding monthly reporting and queries
• Improve quality and productivity of internal processes and controls
• Review daily and monthly operational and control reporting
• Recommend solutions to improve NAV production efficiency

Requirements

• University degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• Professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA, CFA)
• Experience in financial services, specifically with hedge funds or investment companies
• Extensive supervisory and managerial experience
• Experience in Fund of Fund structures, preferably with private equity and hedge fund exposure
• Strong understanding of the transaction and investment cycle of private equity funds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
