About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted risk advisor to Protective's P&C businesses, including the Asset Protection Division (APD) and Excess and Surplus (E&S) line
- Provide independent actuarial and enterprise risk management perspectives on material business decisions
- Evaluate risk across underwriting, pricing, claims, reinsurance, catastrophe exposure, and capital
- Translate complex analyses into clear insights and practical recommendations
- Help shape the risk framework for a growing P&C platform and influence enterprise decisions
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
- Strong actuarial judgment and capital management expertise
- Experience working within an insurance carrier's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function
- Ability to operate as an independent, credible advisor to senior leaders
