About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead study biostatistician for study design, sample size, protocols and statistical analysis plans
- Oversee statistical documents across multiple clinical trials, including TLF shells and eCRFs
- Oversee biostatistics and statistical programming vendors for quality and timeliness
- Represent Biostatistics on cross-functional study teams
- Ensure study-level statistical activities comply with regulatory requirements
- Communicate statistical analyses, data presentations and scientific reports
- Apply innovative statistical methodology to streamline clinical development
Requirements
- PhD or MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or related field
- 5+ years (7+ years for MS) in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or health-related areas
- Knowledge of FDA, EU and ICH guidelines and regulations
- Understanding of drug development
- Strong written and oral communication skills
