About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as legal advisor to brand, marketing, market access and commercialization teams
- Serve as core member of the Promotional Review Committee and Medical Review Committee
- Review and approve promotional materials for healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers
- Counsel teams on FDA, OPDP, FTC and federal and state promotion requirements
- Help establish promotional review standards and governance for launch
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
- Expertise in FDA-regulated advertising and promotion
- Experience with MLR review processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting launch or pre-launch pharmaceutical products
- Experience in psychiatry, CNS, rare disease or specialty pharmaceuticals
- Familiarity with REMS programs and controlled substances
