About the role
Responsibilities
- Originate, structure and execute debt capital market transactions with WBG and FI clients
- Lead client pitches and syndication strategy to secure lead mandates
- Provide pricing insights and syndicate demand feedback during book build
- Lead negotiation of term sheets, mandate letters and facility documentation
- Coordinate with Sharia, advisers and lawyers to ensure timely deal closure
- Build deal pipeline in line with budget and meet fee revenue targets
- Lead and coach deal teams including junior resources
- Ensure compliance with Sharia, Central Bank and internal risk policies
Requirements
- Extensive experience in syndications, structured finance and debt arrangement
- Strong track record managing end-to-end structuring and execution at senior level
- Sophisticated understanding of LMA-based facility documentation
- Sound understanding of credit and market risk
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
- At least 10 years in origination and syndication at a leading bank in the UAE or GCC
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters, MBA, CFA or CA from a reputed university
