About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the central subject-matter expert for complex, sensitive, and high-risk employee relations matters across a multi-state, non-union network
- Conduct fair and impartial investigations and develop well-supported findings and recommendations
- Ensure employment decisions align with organizational policies, employment laws, education requirements, and student-safety obligations
- Oversee key HR compliance operations, including annual mandatory training, personnel records governance, and internal compliance audits
- Coordinate external audit and authorizer reporting requests
- Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions in partnership with Legal, Governance & Compliance, and Talent teams
