About the role
Responsibilities
- Support regulatory and risk transformation engagements
- Assist in implementation and validation of IFRS 9, FRTB, Basel III/IV, ALM and operational risk initiatives
- Perform risk model validations and risk assessments for financial institutions
- Assist clients in designing and implementing risk management frameworks
- Present findings and recommendations in client-facing engagements
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership and client presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related field
- 10-15 years of risk management experience (credit, market, capital and ALM, or operational risk)
- Prior consulting experience with banks, regulators or advisory firms
- Strong understanding of IFRS 9, FRTB, Basel III/IV, ALM or operational risk
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
- Flexibility to travel within the GCC region
Preferred Qualifications
- FRM, CFA or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python or SAS
