Associate - Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate level clerical accounting duties including analysis and routine calculations
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a combination of both
• Verify completeness and mathematical accuracy of routine accounting documents
• Identify discrepancies and determine alternative courses of action
• Post accounting information and classify transactions to appropriate accounts
• Assemble, analyze, and audit various accounts and perform standard reconciliations
• Develop contacts outside immediate work area to obtain or verify accounting information

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of related work experience
• Or formal, specialized, job-related training with 5+ years related work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Customer service orientation
• Analytical skills to identify business process problems and develop solutions
• Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures
