Associate, Financial Reporting & Accounting

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger to source reconciliation and support core financial accounting and control duties
• Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and supporting schedules
• Perform financial control activities and inter-company account reconciliations
• Analyze material variances in financial results and document explanations
• Prepare schedules and reporting packages for group reporting requirements
• Participate in Finance projects to improve workflows and processes
• Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and other regulatory filings
• Support process streamlining and Gen-AI initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• More than 2 years of work experience, preferably in audit or financial services
• Foundational knowledge of banking products and associated accounting/regulatory reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Growth mindset and ability to work under pressure
