About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger to source reconciliation and support core financial accounting and control duties
- Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and supporting schedules
- Perform financial control activities and inter-company account reconciliations
- Analyze material variances in financial results and document explanations
- Prepare schedules and reporting packages for group reporting requirements
- Participate in Finance projects to improve workflows and processes
- Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and other regulatory filings
- Support process streamlining and Gen-AI initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- More than 2 years of work experience, preferably in audit or financial services
- Foundational knowledge of banking products and associated accounting/regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Growth mindset and ability to work under pressure
