Associate General Counsel, Product and Growth @ HealthEquity

Responsibilities

• Drive legal strategy to support the compliant development and launch of new products, services, and strategic commercial partnerships
• Provide strategic guidance throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and risk mitigation
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues for consumer-facing products
• Negoti-ate agreements for new offerings and partnerships
• Oversee intellectual property management
• Support process improvements to enhance agility in legal and business operations

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience advising on product development in regulated industries
• Strong background in both financial services and healthcare
• Expertise in UDAP, ERISA welfare benefit plans, HSAs, GLBA, HIPAA, and data privacy
• Ability to synthesize complex legal issues and provide practical risk management advice
• Ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite and board
