About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive legal strategy to support the compliant development and launch of new products, services, and strategic commercial partnerships
- Provide strategic guidance throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and risk mitigation
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues for consumer-facing products
- Negoti-ate agreements for new offerings and partnerships
- Oversee intellectual property management
- Support process improvements to enhance agility in legal and business operations
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience advising on product development in regulated industries
- Strong background in both financial services and healthcare
- Expertise in UDAP, ERISA welfare benefit plans, HSAs, GLBA, HIPAA, and data privacy
- Ability to synthesize complex legal issues and provide practical risk management advice
- Ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite and board
