About the role
Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, flagging risks to the Legal Counsel
- Review corporate, regulatory and commercial documents for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain the legal library and contract repository with a register of key dates
- Support litigation and administrative proceedings, tracking deadlines and preparing status reports
- Carry out legal and regulatory research and draft junior-level memos and opinions
- Support corporate housekeeping, regulatory certification processes and audits
- Assist Compliance teams in Brazil, Mexico and other markets with policy drafts and checks
- Route internal legal requests from business teams under the Legal Counsel's supervision
Requirements
- Law bachelor's degree and active BAR membership
- Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to learn technical standards
- Proactive communicator who liaises across teams and external entities
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of games, betting, sports and iGaming industry
- Media contract management
- Experience or coursework in contracts, regulatory law or litigation support
- Availability for a hybrid model or relocation to São Paulo, Brazil
