Associate, Project Finance & Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day borrower-side administration of project-financed SPVs from financial close through construction and operations
• Monitor compliance by tracking conditions subsequent, reporting obligations, and information covenants
• Manage CP/CS trackers and drive satisfaction of conditions across internal and external teams
• Administer drawdowns and project account waterfalls, including cash sweeps and distribution mechanics
• Monitor DSCR, LLCR, and other lender-defined ratios to provide early warning on covenant risks
• Coordinate debt service and hedging administration, including interest rate fixings and swap settlements
• Prepare periodic operational and financial reports for lenders and intercreditor agents
• Maintain and update project models with actuals and updated assumptions for forecasting and sensitivity analysis
• Coordinate with external advisors including LTAs, Independent Engineers, and legal counsel
• Support amendments, waivers, and refinancing processes from the sponsor side

Requirements

• 3–6 years of project finance experience
• 2–3 years at a developer, IPP, infrastructure fund, or sponsor
• Proven experience administering live project-financed SPVs end-to-end
• Advanced Excel and strong hands-on project finance modelling skills
• Working knowledge of project finance documentation (CTAs, facility agreements, hedging documentation)
• Numerate and accounting-literate with strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with DFI lending practices (IFC, EBRD, etc.)
• Experience with E&S reporting
