Associate Vice President - Group Strategy & Corporate Development

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of RAKBANK's strategic roadmap and transformation agenda
• Drive strategic planning activities and ensure alignment between corporate strategy, business plans, and execution priorities
• Manage and monitor key bank-wide strategic initiatives and transformation programs
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and macroeconomic analysis to identify opportunities and risks
• Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations for senior management
• Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process in partnership with Finance and business leaders
• Track strategic performance, monitor KPIs, and recommend corrective actions where required
• Prepare executive presentations, management reports, and committee materials
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful execution of strategic priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Development, Banking, Financial Services, or a related field
• Proven experience supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business planning activities
• Strong track record of working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Experience within banking, financial services, consulting, or other highly analytical corporate environments
• Solid understanding of business performance management, strategic planning, market analysis, and financial modelling
