About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify automation opportunities
- Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects
- Maintain clear documentation for automation frameworks and test cases
- Research and recommend improvements to testing tools and strategies
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Hands-on experience with at least one major automation framework
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, or mobile applications
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- English proficiency required
- Reliable internet connection and suitable setup for remote work
What we look for
- Experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks
- Programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with API testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Git
- Knowledge of SQL
